2 title fights set for UFC 235
UFC 235 has got itself two huge title fights. Jon Jones will defend his belt against Anthony Smith in the Main Event. Jones recently defeated Alexander Gustafsson to reclaim the light heavyweight belt that he was stripped of in 2017. Smith has won 3 fights in a row since making the move up to 205lbs. His last win came against Volkan Oezdemir when he submitted the swiss fighter in the third round. The news of this fight was confirmed by MMAJunkie.com.
The second title fight that will grace the UFC 235 card is Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman. The news of this fight was first reported by ESPN.com. It was unsure would challenge Woodley for the belt but the decision seems to have been finally made with Usman getting the nod. Woodley most recently defended the belt against Darren Till while Usman dominated former lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos to put him in title contention.
