Gaethje Ought To Stay Ready

I don’t wish anything but great health on everyone, but the reality is that both Max Holloway and Dust Poirier have pulled out of high profile fights before, and in some cases on more than one occasion. I really want to see the UFC 236 main event come to fruition, but the in the event that it doesn’t, I’m hoping the UFC has Justin Gaethje on speed dial.

Gaethje was on the MMA Hour with Luke Thomas this week saying he doesn’t take short notice fights, and I really appreciate that. Putting major importance on being properly prepared for a fight and not being pressured to take a short notice fight has definitely served him well throughout his career. But I wonder if he would make an exception if a last minute opportunity came along, perhaps we will find out.
