There’s one prospect in particular you should watch out for at Bellator Milan

With Bellator touching down in Milan this week the excitement is real building up to this event. It’s expected to be an exciting night of fights filled with high-level talent. Some of the experienced names on the card include Alessio Sakara, Rafael Carvalho and Melvin Manhoef. All of which are well established in their respected division and have been around for quite some time.

When these cards are filled with such experience, it’s easy to overlook the prospects further down the card. On this card there’s one in particular you should be keeping an eye on and that is Nicolo Solli who is currently undefeated as a pro. The 21-year-old is currently 2-0 and is hoping to add to this in his home country of Italy at Bellator Milan. The Italian will be making his second appearance in Bellator this weekend. His last outing was at Bellator Birmingham when he defeated Simon Ridgeway via KO/TKO in Round 2. The impressive performance caught the attention of many as he picked up a his second finish in as many fights.

His debut was a quick and easy one where he took next to no damage as he forced his opponent to tap with a slick armbar at Venator FC 5 earlier this year. Despite not even being year into his career, Solli is hungry for fights and keeping very active. By the time it’s exactly year since his debut it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him get another fight or two in following this weekend.

This weekend he takes on his toughest test to date in Daniel Cassell who is on a two-fight win streak. He shared the Birmingham card with Solli where he also picked up a win in his promotional debut. In all of his fights, Cassell has only seen the distance twice and there rest have been finishes. Now on the back of 2 TKO/KO finishes he takes on the rising star in Nicolo Solli.

Solli divides his training between Itlay and Ireland. He trains with high level fighters and it seems to be paying off, this is going to be a tough fight for him, but he’s got the skillset to pull it off. Keep an eye on him this weekend at Bellator Milan.
