UFC 235 Full Results

UFC 235 is in the books, we saw a new champion crowned in Kamaru Usman and Jon Jones successfully defending his title. Kamaru Usman stuck to his game plan and came out with a big win. Jon Jones dominated his fight with Anthony Smith, however, it could have been a different story as an illegal knee could have resulted in a DQ victory for Smith. Smith subsequently kept fighting instead of having the fight stopped. He was unable comeback and pull off a big win against Jones though.

Ben Askren also featured on the card in his debut against Robbie Lawler. Askren won the fight via bulldog choke, however, Herb Dean stepping in did not go down very well with fans. Lawler protested instantly after the stoppage, although it seems Lawler’s arm goes limp at some stage he did look to have given a thumbs up too. The fight has left many torn between the decision. The card was fantastic and a huge success.
