UFC London Betting Preview
Good results on last week’s card with all four of our main selections obliging and Junior Dos Santos getting the KO in round two as advised.
Hopefully, we can carry the momentum into this stacked London card.
Nad Narimani v Mike Grundy
Short and sweet here. I like Grundy, as a wrestler, but think Narimani Is the better all rounded fighter.
Training at Team Alpha Male I’m hoping he’s been get drilled by better wrestlers than Mike Grundy.
The line has drifted out to a better price so I’m happy to play. I think Grundy will tire after round one and
Narimani can win round two and three to take a decision. He’s got better hands and think is the better
Selection: Nad Narimani $1.58
Molly McCann v Priscila Cachoeira
Personally, I’m not a big fan of McCann by any means.I think this will be a boxing match and I fancy Priscila to come out the better of these exchanges. I think Molly has cardio issues and blows everything early in round one.
I couldn’t take her at odds available but I’ll happily take the underdog odds on Cachoeira
Selection: Priscila Cachoeira $2.62
Nicolae Negumereanu v Saparek Safarov
Neagumereanu has beaten some cans in his career. Some terrible records on his win list. One of his
opponents had a record of 11 wins and 47 loses. I know you can only beat who is in front of you but I can’t touch him at the odds available.
Safarov got caught by Tyson Pedro and caught by Gian Villante but I don’t think Nik is as good as either of those two. Safarov can make it a tough sweat by letting his lead leg get chopped down but I’m hopeful he fights a bit smarter here.
I’ll take him at odds available just due to the value as I feel Nik getting respect due to this record.
Selection: Saparek Safarov $2.50
Nathaniel Wood v Jose Quinonez
I’m keen on Wood here. I think he’s an upper level fighter in regards to Quinonez.
I believe he wins the grappling exchanges and can take down Jose easily. Ishihara took Quinonez down and I
think that Wood has the skills to take him down and possibly take a submission victory. As well as that Quinonez’s chin
is suspect and Wood has the hands to drop him.
Selection: Nathaniel Wood $1.38
Wood inside the distance
Dominic Reyes v Volkan Oezdemir
Hard to know what way Oezdemir will be here. He’s been brought back down to earth after a prompt rise
to the top of the division. Reyes is not some one you want to face if your chin is a little suspect which I think Oezdemir’s is. I can see Reyes play a similar game to what Anthony Smith did against Oezdemir but unlike Smith, I feel, Reyes can finish him by TKO. I feel he has better stand up and can counter punch his way to a TKO victory.
Oezdemir’s best weapon is his stand up and I feel, in this match up, he is second best.
Selection: Dominic Reyes $1.36
Reyes by TKO
Gunnar Nelson v Leon Edwards
I’m taking a bit of value here in “Gunni”, he’s well-rounded and I think he’ll be able to take down Edwards and submit him. While he does have a tendency to keep his chin up while exchanging, I think Nelson stand up is still at a high level.
In saying that Edwards is no slouch. He’s currently on an impressive win streak and has a victory over Vincente Luque. On top of that, his last loss
was to current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
I think he’s a little short and value is with “Gunni” for me.
Selection: Gunnar Nelson $2.20
Nelson by submission
Darren Till v Jorge Masvidal
Straight up, I’m a believer that Masvidal is a bit overrated. I can appreciate that he has steady hands but over
all, I feel, he is not to the level many believe.
Till has serious talent and a point to prove after his lack lustre performance against Tyron Woodley. I think he makes a statement here and finishes Masvidal with a big KO.
Selection: Darren Till $1.40
Till by KO $3
Till – Wood – Reyes $2.67
Good luck if you’re having a punt!
