UFC Nashville Betting Preview

Going to keep it short and sweet, so going to fly through who my picks are for this week.

Marlon Vera v Frankie Saenz

I’m keen on Vera here, I think he has better skills. I think Saenz is a little over the hill and people forgot he got slept by Eddie Wineland. Vera has a better variety of ways to win the fight and I’m keen he can get the W here. His two losses to date are against top guys in the division and I think he can get a late finish here.

Selection: Marlon Vera $1.58

Alexis Davis v Jennifer Maia

I think Davis has a clear path to victory here. Maia, in my opinion, is an Invicta level fighter. I believe she is out of her league in the UFC.

Davis has been solid so far in UFC and had a decent showing against Chookagian last time out and at the prices available, Maia is worth a fade.

Selection: Alexis Davis $1.70

Deiveson Figueiredo v Jussier Formiga

I am a big fan of Figueiredo in this one. One of his best displays yet was last time out against Moraga.

The “God of War” took everything Moraga could offer and finished him in a violent fashion. I think he can weather whatever Formiga throws at him. Can play out the same way as Jarrad Brooks fight, Figueiredo can withstand the early pressure and then turn it around and finish Jussier by TKO

Selection: Figueiredo $1.70
Figueiredo inside the distance $2.60

Stephen Thompson v Anthony Pettis

I can’t see myself taking Pettis here. I’d say “Wonderboy” will be too big and too strong for Pettis. “Showtime”will have to take the fight to Thompson and this plays into his hands in my opinion. From there I can see Thompson countering with something and finishing him.

Selection: Stephen Thompson inside the distance $2.20
Multi; Thompson- Figueiredo- Veta-Davis $5.73
