Jorge Valente Gurgel (/ˈɡɜːrɡəl/;[dubious – discuss] Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈʒɔʁʒi ɡuʁˈʒew]; born January 25, 1977) is a retired Brazilian mixed martial artist who most recently competed in Titan FC’s Lightweight division. A professional competitor from 2002 to 2014, Gurgel has also formerly competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, King of the Cage, and Strikeforce.
