UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris – Results

In the final act of the Jacksonville trilogy, the UFC pieced together a card headlined by an emotional clash between veteran Alistair Overeem and the surging Walt Harris.
The fight game is at best indifferent, and tonight was no different, with the main event ending in bittersweetness and a handful of highway robbery decisions. The night also spilled blood. While the lights dimmed and the crafty veteran Overeem consoled his former opponent, offering his hand in friendship and training, the realization falls on all of us that there are rarely comfortable endings in this business. At best, you reflect on the night with a whiskey headache and, somehow, unearth new ways to appreciate these men and women for their impossible commitment to this madness.
