UFC Mexico weigh-in results
UFC Mexico is all set as the 24 fighters took to the scales on Friday morning. In the main event of the evening, Mexico’s own Yair Rodriguez will be looking to make it 2 wins in a row and edge towards a title shot with a win over veteran contender Jeremy Stephens. Lil’ Heathen is on a current 2 fight skid with losses against Zabit Magomedsharipov and former champion Jose Aldo. Both fighters tipped the scales at 145lbs.
In the co-main event, a womens strawweight bout between Carla Esparza and Alexa Grasso. Esparza has lost 2 of her last 3 fights and is aiming to get herself back into the top 5 of the division. Grasso on the other hand is coming off the biggest win of her career against Karolina Kowalkiewicz in June and a win over Esparza will put right in contention. Carla Esparza weighed in at 115 while Grasso was 116lbs.
