The Debut of Ben Askren

UFC 235 is the most stacked card I can recall in recent memory, there is a lot to talk about and many different directions I could go in. But I can’t help but focus all of my attention on Funky’s first walk to the octagon.

I love that the UFC matched him up with Robbie Lawler, social media tirade be damned! We have no artificial drama headed into this one, just a good ol’ fashioned fist fight between two elite competitors. Askren has been wanting to prove he can beat the best guys in the world, and this Saturday he gets the opportunity to do just that.
