UFC Fort Lauderdale Weigh in results
UFC Fort Lauderdale is all set to go as the 26 fighters all successfully made weight. In the main event of the evening Jacare Souza will aim to gain a title shot with a win over the streaking Jack Hermansson. Souza has always been on the verge on a title shot in the UFC but has just never got the job done. He is coming off a KO win over Chris Weidman back in November at UFC 230 while Hermansson is on a 3 fight finish streak. Jack is regarded as one of the best ground and pound fighters on the roster. He finished the experienced David Branch via submission only a month ago. In the co-main event of the evening, Greg Hardy will look for his first win in the UFC as he goes up against the heavy hitting Dmitry Smolyakov. Hardy fought on the inaugural ESPN+ card back in January and got disqualified for a illegal knee on the downed Allen Crowder. Smolyakov is returning to the UFC after being cut in January 2017 after 2 straight losses. The Russian’s last fight was at the start of the year and he won by KO. It ensures to be an fun night of action in Florida.
