UFC Minneapolis – Results
UFC’s visit to Minneapolis produced an entertaining night of fights capped off by two major developments in the heavyweight and flyweight divisions. In the main event of the evening, Francis Ngannou continued his surge towards another crack at the title by dispatching the always dangerous Junior dos Santos inside the first 90 seconds of the opening round. In the co-main, Joseph Benavidez cemented himself as the undisputed No. 1 contender for a shot at Henry Cejudo’s flyweight strap by impressively taking care of Jussier Formiga.
