UFC Shenzhen weigh-in results

The 24 fighters hit the scale on Friday morning.

A women’s strawweight title fight tops the bill as UFC headed to Shenzhen, China. In the main event of the evening, fresh off capturing the 115lbs title against Rose Namajunas back in May, Jessica Andrade will be looking to defend for the first time against China’s own Weili Zhang.  Andrade is on a 4 fight win streak including 2 KO victories in a row and is travelling to enemy territory to attempt to return to Brazil with the belt still firmly round her waist. Weili Zhang lost her first professional fight and since then has a flawless record of 19-0. Since coming to the UFC, Zhang is 3-0 and a win over Teica Torres in March has put her within touching distance of UFC gold. The champion Andrade tipped the scales at 114.5 while Zhang weighed in at 115.

In the co-main event, one of brightest prospects in the welterweight division Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos faces off against China’s Li Jingliang. Dos Santos is currently on a 7 fight win streak with his last win over Curtis Millender in the first round back in March. UFC Veteran Li Jingliang has been in the promotion for 5 years and holds a record of 8-3 inside the octagon. Li’s last fight was a KO win over David Zawada in November 2018 and will be looking to put on a show in front of his fans. Dos Santos weighed in at 170.5 while Jingliang tipped the scales at 171.
