The Jorge Masvidal Effect

This past weekend in thrilling and shocking fashion, Masvidal viciously knocked out the behemoth welterweight that is Darren Till and left the O2 arena stunned in silence. It seemingly came out of nowhere, but Jorge Masvidal is officially in the title picture.

Masvidal is the type of fighter that that has such a big persona that it overshadows how elite of a talent he really is. But this past weekend he served us all with a reminder of exactly where he stands in the division, and reasserted himself in our minds and at the top of the rankings. He did it in such a way that it has left a lasting impression on the fanbase.
