Odd-On: UFC Raleigh Betting Preview
We are back for our second UFC event of the year from the PNC arena at Raleigh, North Carolina.
A nice heavyweight main event between two of the top on the division, along with some decent
underrated fights on undercard.
As always, I’m keen on few so let’s try win some cash.
Herbert Burns vs. Nate Landwehr
Great fight to kick things off with two blokes making the UFC walk for the first time. Burns is a former ONE Championship fighter and the brother of UFC submission specialist Gilbert. He comes with his own slick ground game and a nice nine and two record.
Landwher is a former M1 Champion and has fought some good competition along his way to the belt. He’s a powerful knockout artist with an overall good game.
My thoughts here are, Burns is a dangerous BJJ guy who can finish this fight early. Landwher has the hands to finish this fight at any time but defiantly has a cardio advantage if fight goes to the later rounds.
I’m keen one of these gets a finish, be that Burns early or Landwher late.
Bet: Fight Does Not go the distance -190 or $1.53
Keen on Lansberg here as an underdog. McMann is coming off a two year lay off after having a child. She had some grappling on Quintet shows last year but otherwise been inactive. Lanssberg is on a steady rise after two good wins in her last two, both at dog odds.I’m keen the trend continues as McMann struggles, not only due to her “rust” but also due to the advancement in Lansberg’s over all game. Would not be surprised if the “Elbow Queen” got a late stoppage.
Bet: Lina Landsberg ML +127 $2.27
Wasn’t too pleased when I saw both these guys lose opponents as I was keen on Lentz as a dog against
Narimani but anyway thankfully the UFC put this one together.Lentz is a legend of the sport but a little long in the tooth for me.Allen is riding a nice 6 fight UFC win streak, was impressive in beatdowns against Rinaldi and Melendez.
I think this fight is good for him, Lentz might struggle against the youth of Allen. Allen will have a striking advantage for mine and win the later grappling exchanges. Can see him winning a 30-27 or 29-28.
Bet Arnold Allen ML $1.36 -278 goes into Multis, Allen Decision when props available
Jamahal Hill vs. Dario Stosic
I’ll take a punt in Stosic here at dog odds. He’s been unlucky in his last two fights, could easily have took
the decision in at least one of them. Hill done what he needed to do in DWTCS but I think odds are
wrong and I’m happy to have a small play on Stosic at odds available. I think he can avoid the big shots
from Hill and can get some takedowns to win rounds.Bet Dario Stosic ML $2.08, +108
Angela Hill v Hannah Cifers
Anyone playing Hill at current odds is a brave person in my opinion. Was she’s on form, she can strike
well but when she off form, she’s not great.
I also think she under performs in fights she expected to win. Cifers not getting much respect here from bookies and I feel she’s a live dog. Her hands are arguably better than Hills even when Hill is on form and I’m keen she points herself to a 29-28 win here.
Either way at odds available I’m keen on a bet on Cifers.
Bet Hannah Cifers ML $2.44, +144
Curtis Blaydes v Junior Dos Santos
Not sure that Dos Santos is going to get that Knock out here. I think Blaydes is a level above his last few
TKO wins.
Feel that Blaydes can wrestle JDS quite easily here to a decision victory. JDS being most dangerous in the early rounds but I’m sure Blaydes will have learned from the Ngannou fight not to be wreckless.
Anyway I’m keen on the overs and Blaydes by points.
Bet Blaydes Decision $5, +400, Fight to start round 3 $1.82, -122
Montel Jackson, Arnold Allen, Lucie Podilova, Alex Perez, Rafael Dos Anjos $4.71, +371
